Worst Science Fiction and Fantasy Shows!

Agree, disagree,....whatever!

1) Lost in Space Warning,..warning,..danger Will Robinson -- I can't find the remote! When people would tell me they liked this show better than Star Trek I just wanted to throw something. I would have loved to see Dr. Smith run into a Klingon...
2) Galactica 1980 Whoever came up with this low budget Battlestar Galactica knock off should have had a Cylon Baseship shoved up their landing bay. The people who made this COMICAL rip off must have known it was really bad, after all, they called it Galactica 1980. They already knew it wouldn't be around in 1981. Unfortunately, the several hours I wasted watching this show can never be returned to me. The last episode "The Return of Starbuck" was awesome, however.

3) Space 1999

How the heck can the moon possibly get lost? Every week Moon Base Alpha came into contact with yet another solar system. How the hell do you get a moon to do light speed to even make it to another solar system? It was a poor concept, though other aspects of the show (technical) were quite good. As Martin Landau knows, sitting through an entire episode was "Mission Impossible."
4) Buck Rogers in the 25th Century I know, I know!! This show was also on my list of the best sci-fi and fantasy shows too. What can I say, I'm a puzzle! The actors were great, but the writers were not.
5) Planet of the Apes

"Get your hands off the remote, you damn dirty ape!"

I loved the first movie, the 2nd one was good, the 3rd and 4th were OK, and the 5th movie was just plain silly.

I can honestly say that I hated the TV show! It drove me ape! (Sorry, about the horrible pun, it was almost as bad as the show.)

6) Logan's Run

"Where are you going, Runner?!"

I loved the movie but absolutely hated the TV show!

7) V

The mini-series was great! Marc Singer and Faye Grant did a great job.

Unfortunately, the TV series was, ahhh, well, crap. OK, I said it, happy....

8) Voyager I liked some of the shows, but not many. The Voyager episodes with Q were always the best. Also, the fans got short changed. There should have been a show or two after their return to Earth. We waited, what, seven years just to see Voyager achieve Earth Orbit? I can only hope that the BORG assimulated the writers.
9) Star Trek: Enterprise

Stop screwing around!! No Star Trek show should predate the original show!! Stop rewriting fictional history in the Star Trek Universe!! UGH!! The actors and characters of this show are good but they are trapped in a horrible premise. Beam them the hell out of there!!!

(OK. I do love the opening song and intro but that's it!) Is it just me or did the Vulcan go to the same tailor as Wilma Deering and 7 of 9?

10) Star Trek: Enterprise (worth repeating)

The last couple of episodes were good :-)

Now, Parmount, give us Star Trek in the 25th Century again! Let's pick up the time line about 5 years after the last SILLY Next Generation film. Have a new Enterprise launched! Cast a new crew with Captain Riker and go ahead and get as many people from Next Generation, Voyager and Deep space Nine as you can and go for it! Use a new warp technology and explore this galaxy and beyond. Fans aren't trekked out, they are just tired of BAD Star Trek.

11) The Powers of Mathew Starr

Why mince words about this early 80's show. To put it simply, it sucked!

12) The Misfits of Science

If you don't remember this show from the 1980's I only have one thing to say --Lucky you! Brought to you in living color by the same Network (NBC) that canceled the original Star Trek.
