But Pat Robertson insists he really managed to leg-press a ton when he was nearly 73 and suffering prostate cancer. The man behind TV's Christian Broadcasting Network tells The Associated Press he did it one time after building up to it for about three years. Robertson spoke following the release of a picture which his spokeswoman said shows him leg-pressing 2,000 pounds. That's got sports experts scratching their heads, considering the leg-press record for football players at Florida State University comes in at 665 pounds less. Robertson is no stranger to raising eyebrows. Just last month he announced God told him a tsunami might hit America's coastline this year. He also once suggested having Venezuela's president killed.
