Things
to get rid of, or at the very least, consume rarely
Change
your eating habits and lifestyle
| 1.)
The number one key to keeping your weight down is eating breakfast.
When you don't eat for many hours, like when you're asleep,
your body goes into starvation mode. Your metabolism slows down
and burns less because it doesn't know when its getting its
next meal. You can lose MORE weight by eating! Your bodies metabolism
is exactly like a fire. It is at a low ebb after a long nights
sleep, so you want to throw food on it, like wood, to get it
roaring again. You should have snacks throughout the day to
keep the fire burning bright and hot. You'll burn more calories
this way, but of course, you have to make healthy choices when
you do snack. When you have very large meals, like at Thanksgiving,
its like throwing a log on the fire; it tends to smother the
fire. Don't eat to get stuffed, know when to stop. Eat healthy
snacks throughout the day. Keep the camp fire burning and get
it burning bright as soon as you get up. |
| 2.)
No late dinners, eat early. |
| 3.)
Exercise at these 3 times a week for twenty minutes minimum.
Go for a walk! |
| 4.)
Get some exercise by doing more during the day. When parking
your car, park further way. Every little bit makes a difference.
|
| 5.)
When you eat out, make primarily healthy choices. |
| 6.)
Stay away from strict diets. Remember, all things in moderation.
Don't be afraid to have some bad stuff once in awhile. |
| 7.)
Eat at home --period! Have your fridge, freezer, and pantry
stocked, so you'll never think of doing the fast foot cop-out. |
| 8.)
If your going to eat out, and need to do it in a hurry, go to
Subways. Make a healthy choice like turkey and put it on whole
wheat. |
| 9.)
Only have two eggs a week. |
| 10.)
Don't smoke. Only idiots smoke. |
| 11.)
Reduce the fat in your diet, reduce the carbs in your diet,
and exercise when you can or at least do more. All things in
moderation and you'll lose weight and feel better. Don't go
to either extreme of the low fat, low carb seesaw. You'll only
hurt your body in the long run. Losing weight can be done healthy
or unhealthy. The choice is yours. Every little change you make
counts. |
| 12.)
No donuts or bran muffins. They are bad! |
| 13.)
Learn how to add activity to your life and steer your way through
the toxic world we live in. |
| 14.)
Keep away from canned food which is crap (Beeferoni, etc.). |
| 15.)
No butter, use soft margarine with no trans fat. |
| 16.)
Surf the net. The information is all out there! |

I
don't like the taste straight, but I put in two sweeteners and
use liquid creamer. Green tea is an antitoxin which is good
for your body. I feel so much better after having it. It has
now replaced coffee with me. |
Chicken |

good fats your body needs. |

the package! Cut unnecessary fats from condiments by making
smart choices. Get rid of regular sugar. |

are great and low in calories. Wonderful variety. |
Boco's meatless Burgers/Chicken patties |

these on some whole wheat bread, great snack. |

sandwiches are good for you. |
Salads |
A
salad is always a good lunch choice. Watch out on the dressing.
If you make sensable choices on the type of dressing you use,
calorie wise, salads are great. If you don't, the dressing you
put on it may make it as bad as eating a Big Mac. |
Low fat or no fat milk |
A
simple choice that pays off big. |
Water |
Drink
lots of water. Good for your body and good at breaking down
fat. |
Peanut
